Scratch Sale products have slight imperfections (but not actual damages that would make the product unusable) such as scratches or smears in the cold cup finish. Imperfections are easy to cover. For example, in the case of flat lids, sanding off the top layer to prep them for glue/paint/etc is necessary and the scratches on these will not impact the lid being used whatsoever.
